Why wouldn't you use an SFP+ card in your NAS for a lower latency connection?

I have those exact SFP+ modules to my "NAS" which is a Windows 11 computer stacked with hard drives lol
They have been working great for over a year now.
edit Oops, not the same modules I guess. Same brand but I went multimode fiber instead of RJ45
