"You're a kid, you don't have problems." Just because we're younger then you and maybe a little stupider doesn't mean we can't feel stressed or tired. Everyone has problems. And older people need to understand that. No, EVERYONE needs to understand that.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you! When I was younger I was diagnosed with anxiety and recently I was diagnosed with depression. I can't imagine what it's like for people to tell you are too young. That sounds super devalidating and those doctors are seriously stupid 💀

My mom literally ignores taht I started sh at 12 and still have bad mental issues and constant panic attacks because "I'm not diagnosed" and she gets mad at me when she has to pick me up from school when the attack gets too much. Why are such problems ignored like that just because there's no diagnose? And I not just for me, many people experience this. I'm sorry for anyone who has to go through that.

Sometimes I think I'm neurodivergent and multiple friends say I got adhd traits but my parents refuse to even acknowledge it bc im perfectly normal, and every teenager is like that, plus I left therapy bc my therapist made me anxious and stressed me out but now I need one again (and after finally gaining weight I lost almost everything I gained and I can't tell nobody bc my parents would yell so hard)

YO SAME!! we have 3 mental health counselors at the school n they all say they don’t know what to do anymore also i’ve had multiple therapist mostly bc lost of moving but none have helped haha …..it’s getting worse guys don’t think i’m making to 10th grade

Took em 9 years to realize I have ADHD and a generalized anxiety disorder, sprinkle some ODC and possible autism too, because they kept testing for silent seizures.
