As a woman, I liked my 30s for exactly the reasons she said. Got a master's in my late 20s and changed career paths and went abroad; didn't have the same societal expectation living in a foreign country. Absolutely thrived in my 40s.

She’s right! I was fortunate to find hobbies that makes me happy also volunteering. However my profession was a big mistake, takes years to recover from it.

In regards to doing a job that makes you happy, unfortunately, there are no jobs that pay you to be happy. Labour is intense, stressful and at best tolerable. Happiness is a fleeting emotion anyway. It's only ever a pursuit.

INTUITION MUST BE DEVELOPED & STRENGTHENED BEFORE IT'S USED, OR, IT CAN LEAD YOU TO FUCKED UP SHIT! At age 43, I know from a lifetime of personal expericne. It's also often hard to tell between INTUISTION & OTHER FORCES SUCH AS EGO, OR, THE OUTSIDE WORLD HIJAKING YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS. Sometimes my INTUISTION IS WRONG, SOMETIMES ONLY SOMETIMES IT'S SPOT ON! I've been developing, strengthening, &, using my intuistion since age 3 in 84, for 40 yrs, & I'm still developing, & strengthening it, cause, it's still not fully developed for me to rely upon. Why does it seem only people with lives that have been way too easy constantly preach every1 rely on intuistion without developing intuistion 1st? Maybe, cause, most preachers wouldn't know intuistion from their own assholes.

Your intuition can always be wrong. It takes experience to know whether a feeling can be correct or not and sometimes you realise that that feeling was a trauma response rather than an intuitive one. I believe in listening to your gut but if I had done that 100% of the time I would’ve made more mistakes than I already have in my life. It takes balance and life experience to use intuition but you need to use logic as well
