For LaGuardia, I often recommend the right side because often the approach takes you northbound on the Hudson with Manhattan on the right side, BUT it really depends on the wind and the runway configuration. There is an entire science on seat side selection when it comes to LGA.

I will never forget my introduction to Japan as the aircraft (SFO-NRT) flew over the Tokyo harbor at almost sunset and I watched as all the fishing boats were heading back to the docks and the Tsukiji fish market.

I will argue not for a city but coming into SeaTac on a clear day and catching a view of Mount Tahoma/Rainier is always worth the watch.

These places are definitely great to see from the plane Jeb. Also Vegas at night time is incredible. I’ve seen it myself.

Flying into Vancouver from Asia after a snowstorm and you see beautiful snow covered mountains (left side) as you descend to the airport

Another one is Love Field, when on the left side of the plane, landing on 31L. Amazing views of Dallas!

I sat on the left side of a JAL 787 from ITM to HND and I had a great view of the summit of mt Fuji peeking above the clouds

I agree with this list. These same US cities look beautiful at night. I would add Las Vegas at night. Sadly, any flight I ever booked to Heathrow was fogged out and detoured to Gatwick.

Flying into Boston looks beautiful when the sail boats are in full swing. Absolutely picturesque!!

Here's also a used to be one, Kai Tak Airport,no matter which side you can see the view of the city very closely! Sadly it was closed in 1998 (Some old buildings have been rebuilt since)

I would like to say, I love your videos, they are my entertainment while doing multi hour drawings, when I’m bored I will always find myself entertained by your videos, and I have also noted your No jet lag video for my future Paris trip

I’m a DCA based pilot. Every time I read “RV 19” on the ATIS report I get psyched. Love that approach. Glad to see it get mentioned. Great list as always, Jeb!
