I'm pretty sure my dad talked about going down to the drug store and having the soda jerk pour him a cherry flavored cola (and vanilla, lime, etc.). He was born in '46 so im guessing this would have been around '57-58.

I actually prefer the "cherry cola" lyric over "Coca-Cola". It sounds a lot better and more musical in my opinion.
