He is pragmatic and thinks about the worst case scenario. It's not that he assumes any man he meets will be hostile. He thinks this way because it's a loaded question by nature; pairing a known "scary/dangerous" animal with a man. The implication already exists that one of them WILL harm you, so since this is a forgone conclusion, he picks man, because he knows he might have a fighting chance IF that man were to attack him.
If this question was a fair one, I'd love to see these same women on tiktok posit the following question. "Alone in the forest -- would you rather encounter a black man or white man" and make the claim that isn't a racist question, just like how they claim it isn't a sexist one.

A man, very simple question. No person is beating a bear, not all man are gonna attack you or do some bad thing to you as the question is implying.
It's preferable to have other human being in first place, it's preferable that have potencially more physical qualities to return back to society or just survival. So that's why at least if you're using the brain, the answer never is the bear

Yea that question has been going around the question āwould you rather be in a forest with a bear or a random manā and woman say the bear but when you say āwould you rather be in the forest with a bear or a black manā the answer changes so fast because if you would rather a animal over a black man itās honestly insulting

Itās simple, (Iām a guy btw)if the question is āstuckā in the woods, Iām choosing bear because statistically Bears will leave you alone. But if the question is āmeetā in the woods, Iām choosing man, I donāt care if Iām staring into the eyes of Jack the Ripper himself, I think I have a chance to fend him off, if you meet a bear in the woods weāve gotten past the argument theyāll leave you alone because now your in its face, it will attack and Iām sorry but Iām loosing that.
