I mean, how the hell do they see the Nuclear Pulse damaging a Super Form???
Although the Chaos Emeralds from the Movie are not exactly the same as those from the games, they still share many similarities, such as virtual invulnerability to almost any type of damage, in this case from Thermo Godzilla, extreme temperatures and heat, since the games, Super Sonic was shown standing in the lava and walking around as if at home. Furthermore, what could seriously harm Super Sonic would be another entity that controls the power of the emeralds, in his case, Knuckles (like he did to Robotnik to get the Master Emerald) or simply, another Super Form (soon it will be Super Shadow)
And in case the Nuclear Pulse were to hurt him, I don't think Sonic would be stupid enough to just stand there and eat it whole.
Now, if Super Sonic's blows do not affect Thermo Godzilla, it is only a matter of time before Godzilla runs out of Thermo state, while Sonic can stay transformed as long as he want, because in the movie the ring mechanic do not exist

They are my favorite characters of all time (with exception the jp, jw and dinosaurs of movies, documentaries and series and King Kong at the ranking because i don't think the dinosaurs and overall standar animals without extraordinary capacities could count and King Kong as a giant gorilla doesn't make me a great impact as Godzilla) maybe a big reason why I like them and their franchises so much is because the similarities that some of their histories are: for example, some of the most exaustinf villians are Perfect Chaos and Biollante who are very similar, both Godzilla and Sonic had robotic copies (Godzilla: Mechagodzilla Showa/Monsterverse, Super Mechagodzilla and Kiryu. Sonic: Silver Sonic, Mecha Sonic, Metal Sonic, Neo Metal Sonic, Metal Madness and Metal Overlord) and both have a Flying Friend (Mothra, Rodan and Tails) and a Friend with ancestral Lore (King Caesar and Knucles) something stupid about it, is i don't give importance to it and that similarities makes me love more them both, but there are some Dragon Ball Fans that think Sonic it's a copy becaouse another similarities (Vegeta/Shadow the hedgehog, Trunks/Silver the hedgehog, and the chaos emeralds/dragon balls) hate Sonic franchise, I don't find the sense in getting mad with the similarities between a franchise and another one

Bruh, Super Sonic can beat Base Godzilla, but let me remind you that Thermo Godzilla is immune to energy based attacks, and since that is Super Sonics only source of respectable damage, since Thermo would basically endure every normal hit. he can’t damage Thermo. Thermonuclear Godzilla Negs
