It’s hard enough to get a 3 ball to let you through when they’ve lost 2 holes on the group in front. Totally unworkable.

That’s ridiculous! Golf is losing participation due to slow play so this is utterly counterproductive.
Make courses 12 or 14 holes. Land is precious & so is time.

Only works if
1. Course is practically empty
2. If every group is in a 5/6 ball and is happy to be out there for 5 hours.
If you have 1 group of 5 or 6 players on a busy course of 4 balls and 3 balls, even if they let a group through every hole, it still holds up the course.
Plus if you’re having to let that many people through your own round is going to be so slow that I’m sure the benefit of playing with all your friends would be undone
