I met what I believe is the love of my life, when I was at my rock bottom, drug addiction, alcoholic, depressed and suicidal. Had no direction but I knew the one thing I loved was her, And she knew it too. We had an amazing relationship but I couldn't seem to make it past the depression or the thoughts of death and drugs. She couldn't watch me like that anymore so she had to leave. I couldn't blame her, I've spent years rehabilitating myself but I have no idea where she is or who she's with or if she'd like to hear from me. So I've moved on and I've decided to let the universe play its course.. Really does suck though

My girlfriend broke up with me today
I expected it, our relationship never felt full. It felt more like a friendship. But she said she wasn’t ready (which I respect) but I love her.
I really felt like she was the one.
We had so many things in common.
It felt like it was meant to be
But we just weren’t ready.

I'm not sure of the situation but if it's truly the right person no matter what is going on the time can never be wrong. The right person would understand you and support you no matter what. Even if that means waiting for you to be 100 percent ready.
