It's always a master class here. I've watched so many of these videos that I'm confident enough to try a couple of overhauls on a couple of Lviv semi hollows. One guitar and one bass. Let's just say that I'm far more impressed with her skills as an artisan than I am with what I can assume to be factory guitars of the mid 1980s. Interesting pieces but once you start tearing one apart you realize that it wasn't given the same attention to detail or materials. I'll attribute that failure to the Iron Curtain as a governmental entity, and not the factory itself. But there were clear manufacturing flaws that are barely hidden. I've never seen a guitar without a truss rod and this one has some serious backbow. Thank you for your astute tutelage in the luthierical arts.
