Sogogi- Sotbap
(Beef pot rice)

Ingredients

garlic 10g
Pyogo mushroom 30g
ground beef 50g
Ganjang (soy sauce) 15g
white rice 200g
water 200ml
chive 20g
butter 10g
-sesame oil 10g

1. Rinse the white rice several times until water runs clear and soak the rice for 30 minutes and then drain.

2. Slice the garlic and pyogo mushroom thinly. And chop the chive.

3. Heat the pot over medium heat and add the sesame oil.

4. Stir-fry the garlic, Pyogo mushroom and ground beef with Ganjang(Korean soy sauce).

5. Add soaked rice and stir-fry together.

6. And add 200ml water in the pot and bring the pot to boil over high heat.

7. Once the pot boils, reduce the heat to medium and simmer until cooked thoroughly for 20 minutes. Reduce the heat to very low and let it settle for 5 minutes.

8. After 5 minutes, add chives and butter. And gently mix the rice with a spoon.
