The school system in Japan might not be great but it's CERTAINLY BETTER THAN THE US
1) better food - US kids eat the most unhealthy food
2) Gun violence
3) stereotyping - the most intelligent and brainy people are made fun of in American schools and are called "nerds". The entire focus is on being "popular" . The racial stereotyping is bizarre and the disrespect of intelligent 🤓 kids is why America imports a lot of its talent.
4) FREEDOM? idk... It depends on what political ideology you have. If you are a socialist or if you are someone who knows about what America has done to many countries, your views aren't welcome.

Move to Finland! They are known for sending students to work in Japan. You’d get a good mix of eastern stoicism and western fluff. And you’d get to meet a lot of people who already know what it’s like to live in Japan.
