I had epilepsy as a child. Fortunately once I became a teen I out grew it. Anytime I see anyone or any furkid seizing I will make sure they aren’t alone. My mom & dad didn’t dump me but they did work with me and encourage me so I participated in gymnastics and track. I did have a teacher who gave me the business sometimes. She wasn’t unkind as she didn’t understand why I missed so much school. It was because the doctors were trying to figure out what was going on. They did figure it out and I ended up on meds which worked very well for me. After a couple of years they also tested me because I wasn’t having issues. When they took me off the meds I still had no issues so they figured I out grew it❤

He had 8 Grand Mal seizures in under an hour…
I didn’t think I would be leaving the hospital with Kevin. This time it was so bad.
I was certain, even if he pulled thru, there would be no more “kevin” left, and we would need to consider quality of life.

This son of a gun, didn’t miss a beat! Kevin has had zero symptoms or side effects from this last round of seizures?!
The doc believed it was residual from the previous trauma. Two years ago, valley fever manifested on his brain, causing a large lesion, which left him blind, and riddled with seizures. After immediate treatment, we were able to keep everything under control for 2 years no issues.
Our acupuncturist believes his most recent breakthrough seizures had to do with the weather change😳if you have any info on seizures, and the climate, drop it below!!! I’m dying to learn more!!!
