I remember how confused I was growing up. So if anyone else experience this I see you.

Happy healing friends 🤗❤️✌🏻

Yep. And when you got a whooping, if you cried to hard or not hard enough. . . more whoopings. 100% I still make sure I am the last one to get food every where!

I was diagnosed with autism and adhd at 34, so this is the story of my confused childhood. I was most definitely not able to be autistic or adhd as a child, which lead to my supreme masking ability, overwhelmingly complete burnout at age 34, and autism not even being suggested to me until age 34.

Low key that's the perfect depiction of my internal monologues trying to decide how to live my life

from the other side of the world, in another language 40 years ago, and it sounds the same as my childhood, the whole world is raised on trauma.. this generation started working on resolving it.. why only now..
“I’ll give you something to cry about” “boys don’t cry”
Wow, a crippling depression, how did that happen, maybe they should have beaten me more - “all the new generation is too soft, that’s why you get all these anxious depressed kids nowdays” beatings didn’t work somehow
- I love how some people protect themselves from trauma by pretending to love it, “beatings made me a better man” - ego claiming trauma as your badge of honor

"Why do you have to constantly ask me for permission? You know you can do that!" Meanwhile when you do something for yourself that's been okay in the past you're wrong.

Blah the parties I didn't want. They bought stuff for it only to get the same answer, and of course they were like well I assumed you'd change your mind. I didn't want a party I hate parties.

😅 I’m 24 and apparently I’m not often perceived as “excited” even when I really am because I literally can’t even muster up the emotional response anymore
