Funny, critics made similar comments about Richard Kelly's 'Southland Tales' (and still do). But many folks are starting to wake up to what Kelly was trying to achieve. It might be a few years before the world is in a place to accept 'Megalopolis' on its own merits and not on the basis of the films that came before it.
