The story might be generic today. But back in 75 when the book was published It was a pretty new idea. Back then vampires were only seen in castles in Transylvania.

I really enjoyed the movie. Wish it had of been a little longer, but this is a big reason why I don’t trust rotten tomatoes. It has a lost boys / 90s nostalgia feel to it. Definitely fun to watch. And everyone hating on little mark and not mentioning nothing about Danny glick and his acting really got me fumbled.
