I feel like sonic generations is a platform for all sonic remakes.... think about it, the sonic blast skin, the adventure skin came back, the remakes of almost all nostalgic maps returning !

I think the problem is that classic 2d sonic and modern sonic (both 2D and 3D) just play inherently different, it attracts 2 different kinds of players. I can enjoy classic sonic gameplay, but I would still probably prefer to play boost 2D like in Rush or Shadow Gens act 2s

Technically it was made by masahiro sakurai since smash was the first to call him Classic Sonic lol. He probably just did that cuz he doesn't even understand the difference since he's not a Sonic fan.
