Salt and Pepper Seasoning mix: (Makes 4 portions of seasoning) Use this seasoning mix for anything you want to salt and pepper! If using on meat, then coat the meat in cornflour before deep frying to make it crispy.
1 tbs Salt
1 tbs Five Spice powder
1 tsp White sugar
1 tsp MSG (yep!) but leave out if you really have to
1 tsp White pepper
Mix it all up and store in an airtight container to be used whenever you want it. If you want even more flavour, pop a whole star anise into the seasoning pot to infuse the flavours.
Can be used on your chips/french fries and other proteins you may want to deep fry.
