I feel like people don't realize how important the viola is in the orchestra. It's the section that blends the sound of violins and cellos together. I say this as a violin lover: give the violas appreciation for allowing you to not sound screechy next to the cellos and basses

In my orchestra the violas make up FORTH of the entire orchestra and I am proudly one of them, we actually have more people playing viola then cello and our orchestra is one of the best in the district

Some kids in my middle school orchestra group are actually stupid. They pick up their instruments (violinists, viola players, and our one cello player) by the FINGERBOARD! I’ve been playing violin since I was 3 and ever since I started orchestra at my school I’ve had to deal with those idiots and I cry every week because of them
