I'm sure it's well known enough nowadays, but it was just too expensive of a show that didn't reach it's target demographic. But, fun fact, they tried to bring it back in 2012. But the story goes that they just couldn't work out a deal with the budget the creator wanted.

Invader Zim is such an underappreciated show. I'm glad it was able to get a comeback with Enter the Florpus, even if it was just for one movie rather than a full new season.

It shouldn't be too surprising, the creator of Johnny The Homicidal Maniac was the creator of Zim. There was a spin-off to the Johnny comic called Squee that focused on Johnny's rightfully freaked out neighbor.

Such a cool fact. I havent tried finding bloody gur while watching it though.
Back after the series came out on DVD, my family went on a road trip in a RV. And before we took off we stopped by Blockbuster.
Got both seasons and watched the whole thing with my family.
It really weirded them out. It was great, overall they liked it. But like the intestines episode was too much for them. XD
