My senior cat does this when he wants to rest on my lap, he kneads the heck outta onto my upper leg by the knee, I had to wear thicker pants so he doesn't painfully needle prick my skin over a thousand times like I'm a pin cushion 😅
At least he learn to knead softer like my previous kitten that learn to knead softer on my dad chest while he was recovering from his heart attack
