This is a nameless 200-metre cliff on a very remote hike in Co. Donegal, on the way to Glenlough Bay from 📍An Port.
The hike is steep enough, but its authenticity and spectacular views make it worth it.
🏞️ When at An Port, if you turn left you’ll get to Sturall, but we started climbing on the right as there were a few people going to Sturall.
⏱️ It’s about 2.5 km to get to these cliffs and 500m more to get down to Glenlough Bay. In all honesty, the bay seemed underwhelming as the cliffs weren’t as tall, so we didn’t bother going down.
🥪 Bring snacks and water as it really is in the middle of nowhere. The closest town is Glencolmcille, but it’s kind of out of the way.
💧 On the way back from An Port, stop at Assaranca Waterfall which is just beside Ard
