Exactly my thoughts as well. Raya offers something else, primarily with the longer distribution, but I'm not convinced that he is the better keeper overall. And as you say, even if he is, I don't think he he a big enough improvements to throw Ramsdale out.
I like that Arteta can be ruthless sometimes, but in this case I am far from convinced as of now.

I think this season for Arsenal when it comes to transfers is worse than last year. They got players they didn't need at all that made them look worse than before except rice. Havertz and Raya were so unnecessary.

Raya is statistically better than allison btw . Better shotstopper and better at playing out from the back. People forget so quickly ramsdale also makes passing mistakes. Agendas

Itās about playing style. Cech was the best keeper in the world at some point. It doesnāt mean Pep would have chosen him over Valdez for Barca. Itās all about which type of keeper suits the style of play the manger want!
