Here’s a PART 1 demonstration from my Harmony Masterclass: “Soloing OVER Chord Changes”. I created this intuitively by using my trained ear and experience, and by not thinking so much about music theory 🧠

PART 2 (coming next) explores a more music theory backed approach. Let me know which you think sounds best! 👀

Your ear is the best teacher, Beethoven didn’t use theory books

Did you hear the progression a couple times or first go? I have played at church for around 12 years and like to embellish chords and throw a nice twangy lick in here and there. Where I would like to grow is in chord variations for use in leads and arpeggios. Any free advice on getting there?
