I've only ever bought Nike second hand and I never really noticed much of a difference compared to other cheaper brands of running shoes. I'll grab off Vinted as I know my size but defo never buying new!

I used to like them before but it’s not quality at all anymore just “hype”

the artificial hype around sneakers has been declining and people realized they can get perfectly good workout gear almost anywhere. not surprised they're not doing well

Poshmark when they do the "parties" that highlight sustainable brands, Nike is one of the brands on there which makes me sad to see this news

I’m surprised they were even trying to do anything sustainable at all

It’s not a cop out. The employees in the manufacturing process know where waste occurs rather than the “sustainability department” they can implement waste reduction measures quickly.
