10 JULY 2021 Figment New York City 2021 @ Prime Produce - International Immersive festival - Performing artist. An interactive space for the audience's active participation.

My electronic composition "Painted Sounds" in a form of a QR code was available for the audience to listen via online music platform, through the headphones while visiting the festival at Prime Produce in NYC. Audience was invited to scan the QR code and express themselves while painting intuitively to the music on a large piece of paper or chalkboard. Our previous performance "Painted Sounds" (co-created with creative new media content producer and painter ‪@BlairZaye‬ ) was also projected onto the wall (where the drawings were taking place) in the evening. The performing area was created as an environment to relax with lots of pillows, cushions and carpet. I invited the audience to immerse themselves in a musical journey, deeply listen to the ambient music and try drawing what came to the imagination while listenning to "Painted Sounds". The outcome of the audience's input was incredibly fascinating. Many people drew: water creatures, eyes, animals, movement of water, wind, waves. I feel like people allowed themselves to look deeply into the subconscious and allowed themselves for emotional self-expression. Outcomes: interconnection, online presence and international interaction, empathy in space, self-awareness, space awareness, peacefulness, deep focus, self-expression, activation of the imagination, creative actions.
