This udon shop is located in the mountains on Route 372, heading north from Kyoto toward Tanba Sasayama.
At the end of the hill, you will see a sign of Sanuki Udon.
We stopped by during our touring.
A Shigaraki-ware tanuki welcomes you.
They seem to use Tanba beef, and their beef bowls and meat udon noodles look delicious.
This time, I ordered the Bukkake Special B.
It is filled with Tamba beef and has two huge prawn tempura on top.
The udon is served in a tokkkake cup with the desired amount of bukkake-tsuyu sauce.
The udon is not as sharp as authentic Sanuki udon and has a moderate firmness.
It is easier to eat this way.
The hot egg is mildly mixed with the udon.
The tenkasu and kujo onion also do a good job.
