Honestly toy I’m not gonna tell you what to do. You can finish it only if you choose or if you have effort because as an artist myself (and yter) I always try to finish things but a lot of the time I will loose effort or not want to finish so I’m not going to tell you what to do but I think you should finish it!

Hm maybe try filling up the base first the draw on it without fear of getting out of edge, or use more layers
At least that what I do to make it faster and avoid that hours or erasing
