You ask the right questions from a position of ability, knowledge and experience.
Thank you.
How we have come to the current situation on the worlds highest peak is beyond me.
Perspective is needed - Earth is close to a perfect sphere. Even so we seek out the highest Point of that plane - to litter and die on.

Yes!! Yes!! A thousand times yes!! I have been saying this to everyone for years. It is SO cathartic to hear you say it. Thank you :) After seeing pictures of House's Chimney on K2, I have also started saying that climbers must bring their gear (rope and all) back. You're climbing, and you look up ... a hundred different ropes stare back at you! Not only destroys the beauty and the pristine nature, but these bunches of frozen old ropes also increase the hazard for other climbers.

Sharing this video to all my mates we gotta blow this channel up, your videos are so spot on as a climber I look forward to the what ever grueling obstacle may lie ahead in unforeseen knooks and crannies. It amazes me how year after year people destroy the environment at the disposal of the sherpas and can walk away with a sense of accomplishment. What more could you expect from people who have everything else they could possibly ask for.
It should be a requirement to pass a formal curriculum on mountain expeditions prior to getting dropped off via helicopter and leaving without taking a single piece of trash with them. It’s sad that people are able to turn a profit off of this, the owners of the expedition companies should be building schools in Nepal, doing things to give back to a community that has expended so much to people who aren’t even worth it

Totally agree, if your not qualified to climb Everest on your own merit you shouldn't be on the mountain. I donate to the Apa Sherpa Foundation trying to do my part in helping sherpa families not be dependant on risking their lives providing support to wealthy tourist. Thank you for your content and giving this subject visibility.
