I absolutely love Helsinki and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a great destination for a city break. Everything is so accessible and the integrated transportation system in the city is so easy to navigate. The food choice was excellent as well. There are lots to see and do in Helsinki and my video captures a flavour of the city for people looking to visit. Finland has so much more to offer and after Helsinki I took a bus to Mikkeli and rented a car to explore the Finnish Lakes. I was a little early in the year to experience the true beauty of the region but the views where still stunning even in March despite heavy snow. I then travelled via train to Kuopio and further Northwards to Oulu before reaching Rovaniemi in Lapland. There I experienced Ice Fishing, went in search of the Northern Lights and met up with Santa Claus. Finland is a wonderful country to visit and I believe that my videos capture some of its magical beauty.
