No Dig

I've included updates here that relate mainly to the No Dig Allotment that I began back in 2016. You'll find brief glimpses of the plot in its orignal state in earlier updates in the main upload section. The uploads here begin with bed construction and layering up the lasagne beds. There's a detailed 'how to' episode detailing how I made the lasagne beds. It's on the longer side but I left it pretty unedited to give you some sense of the reality of what's involved. The later updates show the plot's continuing development, first and subsequent harvests. I've found my no dig plot is by far the easiest to maintain out of the four I have and plan, in time, to go totally no dig. At the moment my approach is, of necessity, a compromise due to the lack of adequate quality compost. Our fruit and flower beds are also now no dig. We're at about 50% no dig but we're trying to dig less even on the dug plots where the rotation allows. Again thanks for viewing and subscribing. Please feel to ask questions. I don't have all the answers but I'm happy to share my growing experience of no dig. Best wishes Mike😁
