We took and still are on the path of no rules, no fear, no envy, no meanness and we are best known for our 1969 TRIP THRU HELL album which has grown in popularity over the years. The C.A. Quintet main period was from 1966 to 1971 and had top 40 hits on the radio 1967-68 before moving on to more creative endeavors but we still got together and played at times until 2002. Three of us still collaborate on this project as well as other endeavors. Details and stories about the band are in the intro and some of the "notes" at the end of some videos We do not do social media or promote ourselves but try to answer email when sent to info@caquintet.com The CA QUINTET channel is a continuation of a creative impulse that some young people from Minnesota had in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Soon after we started, we decided that becoming rock-stars was not a career path we desired. What was important to us was to maintain personal creative integrity and enjoy the moment. Three original members remain reasonably close to their original physical form and continue on with the mission. We have hundreds of hours of a WIDE assortment of material yet to go through and put up here in no particular order or particular speed and we will continue to do so as long as we are able. We do not monetize this channel and put it here for mutual pleasure We did a couple of reunions in the 1990s (some recorded) and we were inducted into the Midwest Music Hall of Fame. As previously mentioned, three of us are still here but we are not sure about the Hall of Fame proving music is more enduring than "awards".
