12 videos • 679 views • by Rock, Roll And Music Badfinger's sessions for their eventual masterpiece began in January 1971 with famous Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick as producer and ended in September/October of that year. However, due to replacing Emerick with George Harrison and the latter with Todd Rundgren + the rejection of the original tacklist, it was changed, which led to a completely new album coming out in December 1971. Thanks to fellow Badfinger enthusiast and YouTuber John Heaton who reviewed the finished album and mentioned the initial version of it, I made this - the original Straight Up LP, produced by Geoff Emerick. You'll find many surprises here, with songs that you might not have heard of, different track orders and earlier versions of fan-favorite songs from the finalized project! Have fun!
