The Four Songs of ████
4 videos • 14 views • by Raspberry Mint There was an UTAU producer and game dev who worked mostly on Yume Nikki fangames, Yume 2kki (not the 3D sequel) being the only game he contributed to that you can still play and respect his wishes. Sometime in 2013, he started posting about Suicidal Ideation and self harm. Before he went dark, he made three final requests: 1) That his name be utterly scrubbed from the internet. People you see talking about ████, XXXX, OOOO, and other anonymizing monikers are trying to discuss him without disrespecting this wish. 2) That all traces of his work be removed from all sources save for four songs. These are the 4 songs on this playlist. 3) If someone uses the UTAU voicebank he made, do not credit him at all. After this, he disappeared. He never wanted to be famous; he just wanted his small fanbase to enjoy the songs he made. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you view it), some of those same fans were inspired by his music. A number of songs are called "" and credited to "", and are tributes to ████. Additionally , a user named x髥莏 (or xVirtualImage in english) has made two songs, named "!" and "i", that are clearly inspired by him (specifically the song lamprey hole). These songs have become famous through the Youtube algorithm, eventually exposing users to ████'s works. I can't say what happened to him; maybe he made a new online identity so that he can have some peace; maybe he is no longer with us. I wish I could say he's ok, but I can't. We most likely will never know. I'm sorry, ████. But people had to understand what happened. I hope you are well, wherever you are, and happy.
