21 videos • 178 views • by Reeperbahn Festival From Hamburg across Europe and out into the world – in 2019 year, with the support of the German Department of Foreign Affairs, we have launched "Reeperbahn Festival International" – a series of spin-off events around the globe in some of the most important cities of contemporary music culture, which we are very happy to continue in 2020. Our goal is to connect German and European artists with musicians in all corners of the globe, establishing and expanding networks in Africa, Asia and America. The festivals will take place in a diverse range of cities including Accra (Ghana), Nashville (USA), New York (USA), Los Angeles (USA) and Beijing (China). The spin-off festivals will not only showcase of unique line-ups tuned to the local music cultures, but also a comprehensive programme for small and medium-sized businesses involved in the music industry. Reeperbahn Festival International will be a series of forums for face-to-face dialogue between music industry professionals and artists – with the aim of establishing sustainable networks.
