Ang mga Abugado, ang Hudikatura, at ang Arkitekturang Legal ng Awtoritaryanismong Marcos" was held last 15 January 2014 (Wedneday), from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Claro M. Recto Hall, Bulwagang Rizal (Faculty Center), College of Arts and Letters, University of the Philippines-Diliman. This forum is part of the 2013 UP TWSC Public Forum Series entitled, "Marcos Pa Rin! Ang mga Pamana at Sumpa ng Rehimeng Marcos." The public forum will featured as speakers Froilan M. Bacungan, former Dean of the University of the Philippines College of Law, Raul C. Pangalangan, Philippine Daily Inquirer publisher and professor and former Dean of the University of the Philippines College of Law, and Marites Dañguilan-Vitug, Rappler Editor-at-Large. The public forum dealt with the role of the legal system and the institutions of law under the Marcos regime. It tackled in particular how the law came to legitimize and uphold Marcos' declaration of martial law and the efforts made by lawyers' groups to resist the dictatorship.
