A friend (family member of one of the band members) introduced me to them years ago, and now we go every year (except not this year because we were out of town). The Lower Lights are a collection of mostly-local (Utah or Utah ties) folk and blue-grass artists that have collaborated on multiple folk hymn and Christmas albums. They put on an annual Christmas concert that has changed locations over the years as it has become more popular. The concert series usually runs about five days. These are really talented artists who sing and play from the heart. On stage they keep shifting featured performers forward or out as they come up with tons of different groupings. Sometimes they have like 15 or so musicians on stage at once. It's a delightful Christmas tradition for us.
