Some of these performers played with nails but cut them off for a time (as an experiment) or started with flesh but grew out nails later. Some are lutenists but picked up a guitar and made a few recordings.. Whatever the case, these are all clips of gut/nylon strung guitars (6 string) being plucked without the use of the right hand fingernails.
