1 videos • 2 views • by Eris Null “Tales of the In-Between” is a series of short stories dedicated to making the reader feel a range of mixed yet muted emotions – whether that be sadness, comfort, unease, or anxiety – with the overall goal of conveying a setting of liminality or even unreality. Showcasing a nostalgia vibe comes in close second with the overarching goal of the series. If you struggle with dissociation and it heavily affects you in a negative way, I don’t recommend listening. Some of these stories are meant to strike a sense of unease in the reader/listener, and whether or not a story will have horror will not be disclosed for the sake of storytelling in this particular scenario; the ambiguity adds to the feel.
