104 videos • 5,434 views • by Milwaukee PBS Welcome to the 8th season of MATC Now! New Senior Series Student Producer Leslie Garcia-Ramirez welcomes a new studio host, field correspondent and chefs, as the faces of this latest series. Student Directors and Producers present stories that'll interest just about everyone in the Milwaukee area. Advanced students in the Television and Video Production program at MATC take a look at issues, topics and stories that pertain to the Milwaukee Area Technical College and the entire Milwaukee community, featuring MATC programs, community initiatives and the many ways that the state's largest technical college benefits the entire region. James Charles hosts this student web series alongside a guest host from the college each week, introducing video stories produced by MPBS/MATC TV students. UWM's Sabrina Rosler also comes on board as our live OnCampus Field correspondent, stopping by a whole host of seldom seen MATC labs and other sites behind the scenes. Featured segments take a look at everything from the latest in technology and education, to spending some time each week introducing interesting personalities from the college and how they help MATC make a difference each and every day. In-studio cooking demonstrations, a live visit to campus events and the popular (hidden) geMKE features return as well. MN! streams LIVE from Milwaukee PBS's Studio A at 3:30pm most Mondays late October through December 2023, and returns in March 2024 to continue the series for the Spring semester. ABOUT THE ON-AIR TEAM: We at MATC Now! are very excited to have these three as the face of our series this season! The show introduces a brand new team, with a new Host, James Charles, a former FM radio announcer; Field Reporter Sabrina Rosler, a UWM Broadcast Journalism student; plus TV Students Shannon O'Dwyer and Ailin Perez Feliciano as our latest cooking gurus. This on-air team pairs up with MATC Student Directors and Producers to present stories that'll interest just about everyone in the Milwaukee area and beyond.
