It would be helpful to have a basic understanding of blueprints before this (and I have a series for that). This series deliberately takes things slowly with lots of explanation, and is suitable for people who have little or no programming background. It does not attempt to show complex or advanced scripting, rather to give a solid understanding of how scripts work and are constructed.
