Why do I make this claim? – Because it is not in its genes, and there was no tradition to learn from – it was the only bird who did it. When I discovered and videotaped this crow it in 2000, I was making the transition from my academic research in animal behavior to evolutionary psychology and eventually therapy. Most of my work and the videos that I am uploading now are about human communication and therapy, they are in Hebrew, and are being uploaded to my therapy playlist. Yet, I may add some more animal behavior videos to the Animal Behavior playlist in the future. Probably not as astounding as this bait-fishing crow, but nevertheless interesting.
