I wouldn't describe this record as fully Technical or Progressive Thrash but it certainly rides the line between the two with little twists and turns featured in some of the tracks. Jeff Waters' lead playing - for me - steals the album with tasty pinch harmonics thrown into each riff. Some of the highlights have to be the opening classical Guitar track "Crystal Ann" to the brief harmonized interlude in "Welcome to Your Death", unexpected moments like those ended up being the most memorable. The technicality and sophistication shown throughout the album was thankfully further expanded upon in Never Neverland. This album was an easier one for me to remaster. Most of the issues stemmed from a strange amount of 2khz - 2.5khz that ruined the electric guitar tone. Other than decreasing that and doing the typical bass increase and high end treatment, it didn't take that long to finish.
