BRIGHT TO BITTER

His boyfriend, Midoriya Izuku knew EXACTLY who was to blame. His villain counterpart had mysteriously showed up one day, surrendered, and was now living his best life in ‘rehab’ relaxing on a beach??? And NO ONE didn’t believe him?! Izuku knew he must’ve orchestrated the whole ordeal. Izuku knew from that point onward, no villain could ever be redeemed. NO MATTER WHAT. Fast forward 7 years, Midoriya Izuku (or more commonly known as ‘Deku’) is the Number One Hero in all of Japan, despite losing an arm in a devastating battle when he was just 17. Hero Deku is always being asked onto talk shows and news channels for interviews, which is why he is currently seated across from the Flowery Mage Heroine: Cherry Blossom. Cherry Blossom runs a talk show and she invited Deku for an interview because they went way back. The two were just arriving onto the subject of Dekus number one rival; his villain counterpart, a villain so mysterious and evil that he hadn’t been seen since that fateful battle 7 years prior. Then, the worst thing possible happened. It wasn’t a rival hero agency, or the studio burning down, heck- it wasn’t even the sudden realisation that Deku only really had one true friend left. It was the fact that VILLAIN DEKU HAD RETURNED. Deku knew what he must do. He must get up from his comfortable chair, run out of the building, to his agency only minutes away… and immediately start sh-t talking his villainous counterpart face-to-face (with his subordinate, Number Two Hero, Shoto and all of his sidekicks present- duh!) Out of pure rage, Deku activated his quirk. He HAD to get Villain Deku out of here. He HAD to! For Dynamite. For Bakugo. For Katsuki. For *Kacchan*. … Yeah, he passed out. 3 years later, 10 years after the death of Bakugo Katsuki, Number One Hero, Deku had started up a yearly event. It wasn’t a new holiday, or a day where everyone must give to charities in need. It was an extermination day. For villains. A day where all of the heroes of Japan hunt down EVERY.SINGLE.VILLAIN they could find and kill them. On sight. No talking, no negotiation, no trials. Just death. Dynamite didn’t get that chance, why should they? Until, Eri. Eri Aizawa was a 2nd year at U.A Highschool. The best hero academy in Japan, if not the world. She had been the biggest Deku fan girl since he saved her when she was only 5 years old, but- was killing villains really a good idea? What if they could be redeemed?? Eri decided that she should pitch this idea to Deku, he’d always been her biggest supporter!! They’d known each other for 12 years and frequently called and caught up with each other, if anyone was going to be in her corner, it would be Deku! That’s what Eri believed anyway… But, he was hard to convince. Being number one hero and all. Oh, and also the one who started the whole thing. Eri bit her lip. Why wasn’t Deku hearing her out?! If villains could be redeemed, wouldn’t the world be a better place?? Deku had ALWAYS been in her corner! He got mad at her, told her to get out and then, just for her rebellious attitude, had pushed the extermination date to 6 months EARLIER?? Eri ran out of the building with silent tears pouring down her face. “Did you really have to be so hard on her, Midoriya? She’s just 17…” Shoto asked Deku the second the pair heard the doors slam. “If you can’t see that villains can actually be redeemed if we try hard enough, then I guess this is My Goodbye. I’m leaving. Have fun being alone.” Shoto stormed out of the building, following in Eri’s footsteps. Izuku Midoriya; Hero Name “Deku” had officially lost all the friends he had. “I’M THE F-CKING NUMBER ONE HERO!! YOU ALL SHOULD BE WORSHIPPING ME! You DISGUSTING… F-CKING… lose-AUGHH!!” The last part of Deku’s sentence was cut off by a horrific wail of pain and agony. He clutched helplessly and vaguely at the space where his right eye had once been. A giant spear of ice had pierced through his skull. Killing him instantly. Deku fell to his knees as Shoto choked back a sob. He had just killed his best friend in cold blood. Shoto licked his dry lips and looked up to the faces of Pro Hero Uravity and Hero-In-Training Eri Aizawa “I’m sorry. He can’t hurt anyone else anymore. He can be with Bakugo again. Please forgive me.”
