World premiere of a completely new instrument "Omniwerk" at BRQ Vantaa Festival August 7th 2014. BRQ Vantaa Festival presents a completely new keyboard instrument created by Jukka Ollikka and Jonte Knif. Their invention will challenge our knowledge of instrument building. Their idea is to combine two historical and experimental keyboard instruments into one totally new instrument. Ollikka and Knif combined Geigenwerk or viola organista that sounds like a combination of viola da gamba ensemble and organs with Lauternwerk, which could be described as a giant lute operated with keyboard.
