2 videos • 11 views • by AnimeFunTV In late 2005, Texas legislators passed a law that allowed cable providers like Time Warner Cable to move private contracts or "Franchise Agreements" from the city level to the state level. This law so happen to pass the year that the Franchise Agreement between San Antonio and TWC was set to expire. Under the expiring Franchise Agreement meant that TWC would no longer support and host the city's public, education, & government (PEG) access channels. Several Public Access producers, including AnimeFunTV went to city hall to raise awareness and push for the city to fund, support, and hosting the channels.
