6 videos • 264 views • by EAS CEC A compilation of CBS's famous cameraman "Please Stand By..." cards that were used since as early as the Late 1970s and beyond. Sadly CBS no longer used it today, but it's great to see how many of those were made back in the day. As of 2024, only two out of the possible multiple variants of the PSB card were found. A third variant used to be found, but the video disappeared on YouTube many years ago for unknown reasons. The oldest known footage of the PSB card itself dates back as early as September 1978 from a WCBS-TV airing of the station's own "Late Show".
