Some American hammered dulcimer players

63 videos • 962 views • by Timothy Seaman Since about 1980 I've been listening to recordings by hammered dulcimer players, and since 1988 I've joined the community of players and recording folks. Here are some samples of various American players I've listened to (and including a few of my own pieces) --- most of whom I have met and gotten to know some! The variety here includes exuberant gracious arrangements like this first one, and complex new compositions by virtuosos, and simple hymns, contemporary songs by Rich Mullins, and good old folk dance music handed down through the generations through Paul Van Arsdale, Bill Robinson, etc. The last few are whole albums or concerts. Enjoy!
