Aperghis 'Récitations' (2013)
4 videos • 228 views • by Juliet Fraser Georges Aperghis wrote 'Récitations' in 1977/8 for the French actress Martine Viard. Consisting of 14 movements, some of which can be performed in multiple ways, 'Récitations' is rarely performed in its entirety, largely because of the huge demands - vocal, mental and physical - on the singer. Juliet Fraser is working towards a complete performance in 2014, supported by Aldeburgh Residencies and the PRSF.
