Muthoni, GR! & Hook met through a mutual friend - DJ Cortega- in 2012 while he was living in Muthoni's home Nairobi, Kenya. In June 2013, the collaborators met for the 1st time in Switzerland and recorded this project in 16 days. The project was released in Nairobi in October 2013 and In Switzerland in 2014. "This One" went ahead to win "best urban demo" in the M4Music competition in late 2014.
